The Blue Dolphin is a 34' 1962 Hatteras Sport Cruiser. There are very few of these classic boats left, as they have not been produced in decades. If boat history interests you, check the Hatteras web site for info on how the company started. It's interesting. There is a marine head (bathroom) on board. It is easy to use and very similar to your toilet at home. There is comfortable seating for 5 or 6 on the rear deck area, and inside seating as well. You may also sit on the "fly bridge", or uper steering deck. |
The Hudson River is a beautiful waterway, and a 2 hour ride will allow you to see one of the most majestic views on the entire river. Unless otherwise requested, your trip will take you out the Rondout Creek in to the river, then south from Kingston for 1 hour. We will pass the Mills mansion, both the Kingston and Esopus light houses, and turn around at Esopus Island for the 2nd hour return. You may see jumping fish, bald eagles, ducks, geese and deer. There is seating inside and outside, and you should bring drinks and snacks. Catered meals are available on request. |
This is a private charter, which means you and your group of 6 or less are the only passengers on the boat. You will choose the time of departure and return. You may bring a bottle of wine or whatever you like to drink, sit back and relax. There are coolers on board to store ice and food as well.
